WHAT IT IS
Most artists are talented. Few are organized. The ones who build lasting careers are both.
You have the music. You have the vision. But between managing releases, tracking money, planning content, chasing press, and staying on top of your team — your career is running you. Not the other way around.
Artist OS is a fully-built Notion workspace designed from the ground up for independent artists, producers, and singers. Not a basic project tracker. Not a generic productivity template. A purpose-built command center with 7 deeply integrated modules covering every dimension of your music career — from the first spark of an idea to years of catalog, team growth, and sustainable income.
One workspace. Everything you need. Nothing you don't.
Artist Wiki — Your single source of truth. About, Mission & Vision, Brand Kit (logos, colors, aesthetic), full EPK with short/medium/long bios ready to copy-paste, SOPs documenting your workflows, New Employee Onboarding, and Meeting Notes. The thing your team checks instead of texting you.
Project Management — Every song, EP, and album tracked through a complete pipeline: Idea → In Progress → Ready → Distributed → Released. BPM, key, genre, release type, priority, dates. Splits tracker, collaborator payment log, per-release budgets, and pre/day-of/post-release checklists. Drop day stops feeling like a fire drill.
Content HQ — Every Reel, TikTok, Short, Story, and long-form piece in one organized database with a status pipeline: Idea → Planning → Scripting → Filming → Editing → Scheduled → Published. A To Edit queue keeps your editor focused. The Upcoming view shows your forward calendar. Captions, platforms, content categories, and direct links to releases. No more scrambling on drop day.
Financials — Three dedicated dashboards: Income, Expenses, Budget. The Overview shows your total income, total expenses, net position, and alerts you the moment you're spending more than you're earning. Streaming royalties, sync, live, merch, brand deals, fan support — all categorized. Studio time, mixing, mastering, advertising, equipment, travel, contractors — all logged with tax-deductible flags. Year-end accounting becomes a 30-minute job.
Network — A full Contact CRM for the relationships your career runs on: A&Rs, playlist curators, sync supervisors, agents, journalists, producers, managers, lawyers. Tagged Business or Personal, last-contacted date, follow-up flags, conversation notes. The Upcoming Birthdays view is small but it keeps relationships warm — and warm relationships convert.
Press & Media — Every pitch tracked from first contact to published, linked to a project, tagged by outlet: Not Contacted → Contacted → Follow Up → Accepted → Published → Declined. The To Follow Up view surfaces every pitch that needs attention. Recently Published builds your placement log over time.
Resources — A living team knowledge base. Articles, podcasts, YouTube videos, tools, websites — saved straight to Notion via the Save to Notion extension. Tagged, filtered, searchable. No more lost links in group chats.
You don't need a major label. You don't need a big budget. You don't need a large team.
You need a system.
Artist OS gives independent artists the same organizational infrastructure that major label acts have — packaged into a single Notion template you can own, customize, and use for the entire life of your career.

FAQ
Do I need a paid Notion account?
No. Artist OS runs on Notion's free plan. If you upgrade Notion later for more team members, the workspace scales with you.
I'm a solo artist. Is this overkill?
It's built for the artist you're becoming, not just the one you are today. Solo producers use the release pipeline, content calendar, and finances modules from day one. The team modules wait for you instead of needing to be built later.
I already have a Notion setup. Why switch?
If yours works, keep it. Most artist Notion setups I see are productivity templates retrofitted for music — they break the moment you have splits, a press campaign, or a release with three collaborators. Artist OS is built for the music workflow specifically.
Can I customize it?
It's your workspace once you duplicate it. Rename, restructure, delete modules, add your own. Nothing is locked.
How long does it take to set up?
About 20 minutes. You can be running your next release through it the same day.
Will my manager, label, or team be able to use it with me?
Yes. Share the workspace with anyone, set permissions per page, and give roles different views. The team onboarding module is designed for exactly this handoff.
What if I'm not ready for the financial or press modules yet?
Ignore them until you are. They're already built so the day you sign your first sync deal or pitch your first blog, the system is waiting for you.
Refund policy?
All sales final. Due to the nature of digital products, once the duplicate link has been delivered we can't accept returns. If you have questions before buying, email me first — happy to walk you through it.
