Which Ozone version do I need?
Either Ozone 11 or Ozone 12 (Standard or Advanced) works. The download includes BOTH version-specific builds — load whichever matches what you own. When you eventually upgrade to a newer version, the other build is already in your library at no extra cost.
Do I get both Ozone 11 AND Ozone 12 builds?
Yes. One purchase, both presets, lifetime access. Use whichever version you have today; the other is yours for free whenever you upgrade.
Are the two builds identical?
Functionally yes — same signal chain, same 8 macros, same sound philosophy. The only difference is that each is built using the module versions available in its respective Ozone release (some plugins have slightly different parameter ranges or UI between Ozone 11 and 12).
I have Ozone 10 or earlier — will this work?
Not fully. The chain is built around the Ozone 11 module architecture at minimum. Most modules will load in Ozone 10 but the signal flow and macro behavior aren't guaranteed. For best results, upgrade to Ozone 11 (or pick up the Waves, Ableton, or Logic version instead).
Does it work in any DAW?
Yes. Anywhere Ozone loads as a plugin — Ableton, Logic, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, all the others.
Why is this called 'the most powerful build'?
iZotope's modules outperform stock plugins on transparency and fidelity, especially the Maximizer and the dynamic EQ. If you own any version of Ozone, this is the cleanest mastering chain in the catalog.
Should I just buy the bundle instead?
If you ever bounce stems to a producer on a different DAW or use a different mastering toolchain, yes. The bundle is $54 for all four chains — Waves, Ableton, Logic, AND Ozone (with both 11 & 12 builds) — plus lifetime updates. $14 less than buying all four singles. The Ozone single is right when you're certain Ozone is your only mastering home.
Will it work on my genre?
Designed for electronic music — house, bass, melodic, D&B, future bass — but it works across genres. Tweak the macros to taste.
