Where the Ozone chain stays transparent and the stock chains stay neutral, this one adds real analog character: warmth, harmonic density, tube saturation, console glue. The kind of tone you normally only get by running your mix through a rack of expensive hardware.

What plugins do I need?
Six Plugin Alliance plugins: Dangerous Music BAX EQ, Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor, Brainworx bx_digital V3, Black Box Analog Design HG-2, Brainworx bx_clipper, and Brainworx bx_limiter True Peak. The easiest way to get all of them is a Plugin Alliance subscription — Core (~$15/mo) or Pro (~$30/mo). If you already own them individually, you're set.
Do I have to subscribe to Plugin Alliance?
Only if you don't already own the six plugins. A Core or Pro subscription unlocks all of them (plus the entire Plugin Alliance catalog). If you own them individually, no subscription needed. Either way, the chain itself is a one-time $17 — no recurring cost from me.
Why is this chain different from the others?
It's the color chain. Where Ozone stays transparent and the stock chains stay neutral, this one adds real analog character — tube saturation, harmonic density, console glue. Black Box HG-2 and Shadow Hills are doing things no stock plugin can. If your masters feel too clean or sterile, this is the fix. It's my personal favorite.
Does it only work in Ableton?
For now, yes — this is the Ableton build. The Logic version is in the works and will ship free to everyone who buys this chain or the bundle. If you're not on Ableton yet, the Ozone or Waves chains work in any DAW.
What do the DENSITY and SAT macros do?
DENSITY increases harmonic richness, body, and perceived loudness while preserving clarity and punch. SAT blends in parallel tube saturation to add warmth, color, and analog character. Together they're what give this chain its signature tone.
Will it work on my genre?
Built on electronic music but the analog character makes it a killer fit for hip-hop, R&B, indie, rock, and anything that wants warmth and body. Anywhere you'd normally reach for hardware saturation, this chain delivers.
Should I just buy the bundle instead?
If you want more than one sonic flavor, yes. The bundle is $64 for all five chains (Plugin Alliance, Ozone, Waves, Ableton, Logic) plus lifetime updates — $21 less than buying all five singles, and it includes the free Logic version of this chain when it drops.
