Is this really built for Logic, or a converted Ableton file?
Built for Logic, from scratch. Ableton and Logic use completely different preset formats and macro systems, so I rebuilt the entire chain and all 10 macros natively inside Logic. It works exactly the way it should — no workarounds, no compatibility hacks.
What plugins do I need?
Seven Plugin Alliance plugins: Brainworx bx_cleansweep Pro, Elysia museq, Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor, Brainworx bx_digital V3, Black Box Analog Design HG-2, Brainworx bx_clipper, and Brainworx bx_limiter True Peak. The easiest way to get all of them is a Plugin Alliance subscription — Core (~$15/mo) or Pro (~$30/mo). If you already own them individually, you're set.
Do I have to subscribe to Plugin Alliance?
Only if you don't already own the seven plugins. A Core or Pro subscription unlocks all of them (plus the entire Plugin Alliance catalog). If you own them individually, no subscription needed. Either way, the chain itself is a one-time $24 — no recurring cost from me.
What Logic version do I need?
Logic Pro X or newer, on macOS. The chain loads as a channel strip preset (.pst) on your master bus.
What do the DENSITY and SAT macros do?
DENSITY increases harmonic richness, body, and perceived loudness while preserving clarity and punch. SAT blends in parallel tube saturation to add warmth, color, and analog character. Together they're what give this chain its signature tone — on top of the standard LO-CUT, LOWS, MIDS, AIR, GLUE, MONO-MKR, WIDE, and LIMITER controls.
Will it work on my genre?
Built on electronic music but the analog character makes it a killer fit for hip-hop, R&B, indie, rock, and anything that wants warmth and body. Anywhere you'd normally reach for hardware saturation, this chain delivers.
Should I just buy the bundle instead?
